Bio

Priscilla Luna is a dedicated Instructional Technologist with a strong commitment to advancing educational practices through technology. With a Master’s degree in Educational Instructional Technology and nearly a decade of teaching experience, Priscilla specializes in designing and implementing technology-driven instructional strategies that meet the needs of diverse learners. Her expertise spans curriculum development, multimedia integration, and the application of assistive technology to support students with learning disabilities, particularly those with dyslexia and ADHD.

Priscilla has had the honor of being named her campus’ Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 school year, marking the second time she has been nominated for this distinguished recognition. Additionally, she serves on the 2024-2025 District-Wide Education Improvement Council (DWEIC) and has been an elected member since September 2023. Priscilla collaborates with educators to find best practices for classroom instruction and plans to push for the integration of digital tools into instruction within her district. In the near future, she plans to organize professional development sessions on using technology to enhance student engagement and improve academic outcomes. Currently, she also serves locally on campus in the leadership committee as a Grade Level Chairperson and participates in the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) and the Site-Based Decision-Making (SBDM) committee. Her aspirations are to become part of the administrative staff team that helps integrate educational technology district-wide, ensuring all students and educators have access to innovative learning opportunities.

An advocate for equitable access to education, Priscilla believes that technology can bridge gaps in learning and provide all students with opportunities to succeed. She is continually exploring emerging technologies and best practices to refine her approach and ensure that her work aligns with evolving educational standards and goals. In her current role, she is focused on leveraging innovative teaching methods to increase student achievement in both traditional and digital classrooms.
